Terms and Conditions
TERMS: We do not carry open accounts. We do accept VISA, MASTERCARD, DISCOVER, and AMERICAN EXPRESS. We can C.O.D. to authorized dealers only. Retail customers must pre-pay with a credit card or send a money order for the full amount, plus shipping, to: 13388 S. Molalla Forest RD. Molalla, OR. 97038 (No personal checks).
SHIPPING: All shipping charges are F.O.B. our plant. All domestic orders will be shipped U.P.S. All foreign orders will be shipped United States Postal Service unless otherwise specified. Please call for rates or if you require special shipping needs.
DELIVERY: Whenever possible, all orders will be shipped the same day it was ordered. In the event that an item is not in stock, we will make every effort to ensure your package will be shipped the next available business day. Special orders or colors may take up to 48 hours to accommodate.
FREIGHT DAMAGE CLAIMS: Title of merchandise passes to the customer on delivery to the common carrier. Delivery of the merchandise, in good condition, is the responsibility of the carrier. All claims for damage or shortage should be made with the carrier directly.
RETURNS: SHIPPING CHARGES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. THE CUSTOMER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL SHIPPING FEES INVOLVED IN THE RETURN /EXCHANGE PROCESS. Due to the overwhelming amount of aftermarket parts available for motorcycles and ATV's, Clarke Mfg. will not be held responsible for conflict arising with the fitment of our tanks with other after market products. This includes but is not limited to: STEERING STABILIZERS, EXHAUST PIPES, HANDLE BARS, RACING FENDERS, ETC. In addition, accessory items such as gaskets, o-rings, cap gaskets, gas caps or petcocks will be under warranty for a period of 6 months. There are NO returns after 30 days. Returns will only be accepted under the guarantee listed below. ALL returns will be subject to a 20% restocking fee. Exchanges without a restocking fee may be made at our discretion. ALL returns or exchanges must have a return authorization number.
RETURN AUTHORIZATION NUMBER: Before returning any item, the customer must call to obtain a return authorization number. All returned items must be accompanied by an original invoice, an R.A.#, and a detailed letter explaining the reason for the return. We will refuse to accept any return without an R.A.# legibly and plainly written on the OUTSIDE of the return box. ALL returns for a refund must be received in original and resellable condition, otherwise we reserve the right to refuse it.
GUARANTEE: Clarke tanks carry a 30 day guarantee against defects and 1 year against breakage. We reserve the right to refuse to replace tanks that have failed due to improper maintenance, incorrect mounting, modifications, or fittings installed that were not originally supplied with the tank. We will only warranty accessory items such as gaskets, o-rings, cap gaskets, gas caps or petcocks for a period of 6 months. CALL BEFORE RETURNING ANY TANK. TANK COLORS: We reserve the right to issue a "NO-RETURN" policy on tank colors deemed by us as unusual or non-brand specific.
Please note, because we ship all orders placed outside the continental United States by US postal service, we are unable to accept orders from outside the continental United States online. However, please e-mail us with your name, mailing address, and the part(s) you are interested in. We will figure all shipping charges and e-mail you back a total amount for your order to be placed by phone (503) 829-2156, or fax (503) 829-6269.
A special note regarding Honda Trademarks: The decals of Honda trademarks featured on the radiator shrouds are not included with the product offered for sale. Furthermore, the decals used in the photographs of Clarke products are Honda Official Licensed Products. Clarke products are NOT designed, manufactured, distributed, licensed or endorsed by American Honda Motor Co. Inc.
